Doctor of the University by Thesis <\/strong>(PhD)<\/span><\/h3>\n

The PhD is a research doctorate, requiring course-work beyond the Master\u00b4s level plus research and dissertation contributing to theory or practice in relation to the discipline as well as to development of professional practice by contributing to field-specific knowledge and hence impact practice beyond research.<\/p>\n

The Doctor of the University by Thesis is awarded to candidates who have earned an MPhil or comparable postgraduate degree for admission and demonstrate their ability to submit an independent research dissertation in any of the study areas the university is offering<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The format and requirements are equivalent to a PhD programme.<\/p>\n

After completion of coursework, examinations and written research the thesis (dissertation or comprehensive project report) is defended by the candidate before the panel of examiners.<\/p>\n

The total workload of the doctorate corresponds with equivalence of three years of study or 180 ECTS credits.<\/p>\n

Students must focus on a specialisation or interdisciplinary research. The study area must be offered by Universidad Azteca.<\/p>\n

THESIS: Two hardcopies of a thesis must be shipped to University Librarian.<\/p>\n
