The Enrollment and Administrative Fees

- Fees & Financials Enrollment fees are payable in advance and cover the required program duration. No discounts, scholarships, or refunds are provided.
- Payment Plans: For eligible programs and applicants, you may settle your balance in 2 or 3 payments over the first six months. 10% as an additional fee is required for any installment plan
-Total Costs: Enrollment fees do not include additional requirements. For a detailed breakdown of extra costs, please check our Administrative Fees tab.
- Currency: All transactions are in CHF / Swiss Franc (1 CHF ≈ 1.2 USD).

To enroll in any program, the submission of a formal application for admission is required.

Please note that the application handling fee is mandatory and is charged separately from the tuition fees.

– Doctor of Sciences, (D.Sc.) Degree in the disciplines of Science, Engineering, Technology and other related areas;
– Doctor of Letters (D.Litt., Litt.D., D. Lit., or Lit. D. ) Degree in the disciplines of Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, Design, Creative Arts and other related areas;
– Doctor of Laws, (LL.D.) Degree in the discipline of Law and other related areas to a candidate whose work and research have made distinct contributions to the advancement of knowledge.

The Bachelor’s degree does not require a thesis. In contrast, a Master program cannot be completed without the submission and successful defense of a thesis.

A master’s degree may, in certain cases, be completed without a thesis. In contrast, a doctoral program cannot be completed without the submission and successful defense of a thesis.

If a thesis is required for both the Master’s and Doctoral programs, an additional fee of CHF 1,500 will apply.

This fee applies to all institutional and partner university fees and is allocated to enhancing and maintaining the academic quality standards of the Institute.

It may be waived for applicants originating from low-income countries, subject to eligibility and review.

The fees listed below are not included in university enrollment fees, but may be required for certain programs or activities.

Registration Fee*:

If enrollment is scheduled to commence two months or more after the date of acceptance, the relevant fees must be settled within one week from the issuance of the acceptance decision.
This requirement may be waived for applicants from low-income countries, as well as for those who proceed with full payment of their tuition fees within one week of acceptance,

** Review and Marking instead of Defence for Postgraduate Programs:
This option includes the full academic evaluation of your thesis by appointed examiners.
The process involves:
– A formal academic review of the written thesis
– Assessment of structure, methodology, originality, academic rigor, and compliance with institutional guidelines
– Final marking and issuance of the official decision: pass or fail, without a grade or report.
The opinion reduces the regular fee for the defence to 50%

1. Study program with the character of a university course in accordance with Article 59 of the Mexican Education Act.
2. Tuition fees for regular programs in Business Administration, Management, and Information Technology, which require full-time study for one year or more, can be found on the institute's official website. Please be aware that these fees apply exclusively to non-traditional studies for students who possess qualifications eligible for degree pursuit through one of the following methods: Prior Learning Assessment, Credit Transfer, Degree Validation, Publications, Prior Output and Achievement, or Thesis. While all methods necessitate the completion of a thesis, their specific requirements and duration may vary.

NOTE

Thesis-based programs are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic. It is important to be aware that the site has undergone electronic translation primarily from English, occasionally from German or Spanish into English, and subsequently into other languages. Consequently, it is imperative to acknowledge that the non-English content may lack precision, and some information could be inaccurate. The translation serves promotional purposes, and complete reliance on it is not advisable.

Please note that the thesis writing is feasible in any of the aforementioned languages. However, all official documents and communications are exclusively handled in English. Should your proficiency in English be insufficient, you may, at your own discretion, seek assistance from a third party to facilitate communication with the institute.
