Unveiling the Highest Post-Doctoral Degrees:
Avrio Institute is proud to offer, as an official branch of Azteca University, the following esteemed post-doctoral degrees, recognized for the exceptional achievements of our graduates:
- Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) La licenciatura in Ciencias, Engineering, Tecnología, y related disciplines.
- Doctor of Letters (D.Litt., Litt.D., D. Lit., or Lit. D. ) Degree in Business, Humanidades, Ciencias Sociales, Design, y Creative Arts, y related disciplines.
- Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) Degree in the field of Ley y related areas is awarded to candidates whose work and research have significantly contributed to the advancement of knowledge.
Qualifying for Post-Doctoral Distinction:
D.Sc. Eligibility:
A candidate who has been granted a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the fields of Science, Engineering, Technology, or other related disciplines from Azteca University, or an equivalent degree recognized by another university, may apply for the Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree, provided that they must fulfill the following requirements:
- Demonstrate a minimum of two years of post-doctoral research experience.
- Possess a publication record of 10 research papers in indexed journals (first or corresponding author).
OR
- Two+ years of post-doctoral experience with at least one internationally recognized patent (and at least two total patents).
- Research is recognized nationally or internationally for its significant contributions to society and knowledge advancement.
OR
- Two+ years of post-doctoral experience with at least three recommendations/referrals of his research or contribution from nationally/ internationally recognized experts in the concerned field and his/her work and effort which should have made a distinct contribution to the society and advancement of knowledge.
D.Litt. Eligibility:
A candidate who holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the fields of Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, Design, Creative Arts, or other related areas from Azteca University, or an equivalent degree from another recognized university, may apply for the Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) degree, provided that they:
- Possess a minimum of two years of post-doctoral research experience.
- Publish 10 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals (first or corresponding author).
OR
- Two+ years of post-doctoral experience with three recommendations/referrals of his research/ contribution from nationally/ internationally recognized experts of the concerned field and his/her work and efforts have made distinct contributions to society and advancement of knowledge.
LL.D. Eligibility:
A candidate who has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Law or related areas from Azteca University, or an equivalent degree recognized by another university, may apply for the Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) degree, provided that they have:
- Possess a minimum of two years of post-doctoral teaching experience.
- Publish 10 research papers in indexed journals (first or corresponding author).
OR
- Two+ years of post-doctoral experience with three recommendations from esteemed legal experts, recognizing your contributions to the legal field.
Acceptance Policies
To be considered for a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.), Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.), or Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) degree at Azteca University via Avrio Institute, you must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate Status: Other than in exceptional circumstances, the candidate must hold a D.Sc. / D.Litt./ or LL.D. from Azteca University or a recognized university.
- Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of eight years of experience since their first undergraduate degree to apply for the D.Sc. / D.Litt. / or LL.D.
- Original Research: Your candidacy for The Degrees of D.Sc. / D.Litt./ or LL.D. will be based on your original and significant contributions to a specific field such as linguistics, literature, philosophy, social sciences, or history.
- Published Work: You must have published your research in book form or scholarly journals with wide circulation.
- Previous Awards: Work previously used for another degree or diploma is not eligible.
- Enrollment Process: A candidate shall submit a written application to be considered for examination, along with the Post-Doctoral Tuition Fees and the following documents:
- The Thesis Proposal to be examined and approved.
- A statutory declaration, which shall:
- Indicate the extent to which the work is the candidate’s own and, in the case of joint work, clearly identify which parts are the candidate’s contribution;
- Specify what portion, if any, of the submitted work has been previously presented for a degree or diploma at Universidad Azteca or any other university;
- Declare that the work, in its current form, has not been previously accepted for the award of a degree or diploma at this or any other university and is not being concurrently submitted for a degree or diploma at any other institution.
